The master agreement governing all use of Mosaic.
Who can use Mosaic
During the beta you must be 18 or older to buy or sell on Mosaic. You affirm you meet this age when you create an account; misrepresenting your age is grounds for termination.
One account per person. Anyone can commission art; to sell, you add an artist profile and complete payout onboarding. You are responsible for your account's security and all activity under it.
Mosaic's role
Mosaic is a marketplace operator, a payment facilitator, the Mosaic Protect facilitator, and a dispute mediator. Mosaic is not the author of your work, your employer, or a party to the contract between a buyer and an artist.
All transactions and payments must stay on Mosaic. Soliciting or accepting off-platform payment to avoid fees or Mosaic Protect is prohibited.
Acceptable use
You agree to the Community Guidelines, the Intellectual Property Policy, and the Human Artwork Policy, each incorporated by reference. Content must be SFW; deliverables are digital.
Disputes & arbitration
Mosaic resolves commission disputes internally, and its decision is binding for the release of funds on the platform, with one internal appeal. This does not remove a cardholder's external chargeback rights.
Claims against Mosaic are subject to binding arbitration and a class-action waiver, with a 30-day opt-out and carve-outs for small-claims, IP, and injunctive relief. Governing law is Michigan.
Changes
We announce material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. This policy is in beta and may change before public launch.
