How refunds are decided
Refunds are decided case-by-case through the dispute process, anchored to the commission contract's agreed deliverable. Full or partial refunds apply where the work fails the agreed spec or is not delivered; partial refunds where meaningful work was completed.
There are no refunds for change of mind, taste, or artistic interpretation. Because digital files can't be returned, completed work typically yields a partial rather than a full refund.
Window
Refund requests must be filed within 30 days of delivery. The buyer service fee is refunded on non-delivery or fraud, and otherwise retained. Stripe does not return its processing fee on refunds; Mosaic absorbs that cost.
