Mosaic Protect
How your payment is protected and released to the artist after delivery.
How it works
When you pay for a commission, your payment is protected by Mosaic Protect. After the artist delivers the final work, you have a 3-day window to review it.
If everything looks good, you can release the funds to the artist right away. If you take no action, funds are released automatically after 3 days. Only the final deliverable starts the clock; work-in-progress previews do not.
When a hold is required
For new sellers and for any order of $250 or more, funds are released only when you explicitly release them or an admin resolves the order; these never auto-release during the beta.
If you open a dispute during the review window, release is paused while Mosaic reviews it, and your payment stays protected the whole time.
